Bolshoi ballet chief says he knows who is behind acid attack on him  Sunday, Feb 03, 2013 10:59 AM PST MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Bolshoi Ballet's artistic director was quoted on Sunday as saying he knew who was behind an attack on him in which a masked assailant splashed acid over his face threatening his eyesight. Sergei Filin, who has undergone several operations on his eyes and face since the January 17 attack, did not give any names but made clear he linked the case to his job. NFL's Goodell: no brain damage cover-up in football  Sunday, Feb 03, 2013 09:38 AM PST WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The head of the National Football League, in remarks before the Super Bowl on Sunday, defended his organization's efforts to make the game safer and flatly denied an allegation that it had deliberately covered up the risks of head injuries in the sport. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, speaking on CBS's "Face the Nation," said there had been no effort by the NFL to hide the dangers of brain damage in football, as claimed in a lawsuit by the family of an NFL player who killed himself last year. ... Soccer-Alcoholic Gascoigne's life in danger, says agent  Sunday, Feb 03, 2013 04:48 AM PST LONDON, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Former England midfielder Paul Gascoigne needs immediate help with his life in danger because of alcoholism, his agent said on Sunday. The 45-year-old, who became a national hero thanks to his performances and tears as England reached the 1990 World Cup semi-finals, started shaking uncontrollably at a charity event last week and footage has appeared in the UK media.
