PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - Sheriff Mike Byrd says a Jackson County jail inmate died while in custody at the county's maximum-security jail. The Sun Herald reports ( http://bit.ly/XczNfU ) Pascagoula police had arrested 40-year-old John Morris Lee Jr. on a felony shoplifting charge and he was placed in the Jackson County Adult Detention Center on Dec. 5, 2012.
