Tiger population grows in Nepal

Adult tiger, Bardia National Park, Terai Arc Landscape, Nepal (World Wildlife Fund)Since the last century, the world's wild tiger population has dwindled. But wildlife conservationists say there is a bright light in Nepal. The government of the Himalayan country announced on Monday -- Global Tiger Day -- that their tiger population has increased 63% since the last survey in 2009.
