German rapper causes storm with provocative lyrics Tuesday, Jul 16, 2013 10:25 AM PDT BERLIN (Reuters) - Berlin's mayor has filed a legal complaint against German rapper Bushido who released a provocative video containing anti-gay lyrics and which critics say contains fantasies about murder and incites violence. Bushido, 34, is no stranger to controversy but his latest tirade targets individual politicians and the video shows images of what appears to be a man igniting a car with a body stuffed in the boot. Austrian found hoarding stolen skulls in home museum Tuesday, Jul 16, 2013 10:06 AM PDT VIENNA (Reuters) - An Austrian man is to be charged with disturbing the peace of the dead after police found 56 skulls and 55 other bones at a museum he had created in his home. Police in the province of Burgenland said the relics were taken without authorization from a church cemetery and had now been returned. The 47-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released pending his being charged, came to the attention of the police when he tried to sell three skulls and two thigh bones at a flea market, police said. ... Topless activist inspires France's new Marianne stamp Monday, Jul 15, 2013 01:58 PM PDT PARIS (Reuters) - A postage stamp depicting France's cultural symbol Marianne has touched off a flurry of controversy after one of its creators revealed it was inspired by a topless feminist activist who hacked down a Christian cross in Kiev last year with a chainsaw. The new stamp depicts a youthful Marianne, a symbol of the French republic, wearing a Phrygian conical cap but does not show her topless.
